The increasing resistance of U. urealyticum and M. hominis to current antibiotics requires the testing of new, better adapted antibiotics.
The Mycoplasma IST 2 strip now enables 9 antibiotics (8 at 2 concentrations) to be tested for, including 3 new antibiotics:
Ciprofloxacin, Azithromycin and Clarithromycin.
